But for us as fruit growers, it is also a busy period because everything is coming back to life.
Freezing temperatures at night make for short, sleepless nights. Frozen blossoms mean less fruit and poorer quality.
Fortunately, we can protect part of our orchard from night frost with sprinklers and a windmill.
Blooming blossoms and rolling landscapes. So our fruit trees also contribute to this decor.
The scent of sweet apple blossoms accompanies you on a walk or a picnic.
If you're lucky or we're unlucky and you're an early bird, you can enjoy the stunning site of a sprinkled orchard.

Cycling through the sloping Haspengouw to Borgloon, Riemst or Tongeren? It is all very doable and you'll enjoy every kilometre.
The flatter landscape towards Bilzen, Alken or Hasselt is also beautiful.
You can rent electric bikes during your stay.
Our farm is located between cycle junctions 122 and 123.
Discover our surroundings in a quiet and environmentally friendly way without having to make any effort yourself. The carts are suitable for 4 people and take you past picturesque villages, flowering orchards, open fields, sunken lanes and so many other beautiful features.
